A market stall owner asked me for some help - she wanted to advertise that she accepted credit card payments with some kind of stand that could sit neatly on a table. It needed to look neat, professional, but be robust enough to handle being thrown into a box of glassworking tools without getting destroyed.
After some brainstorming, it also seemed obvious that it would be great if the stand could serve as a storage box for the actual hardware involved in payments, too, and so we ended up with this - a tidy case that box holds the electronics and a placard panel on which the payment provider sign resides.
The box has a slot recessed into the underside, and the placard sits in that, once removed from the case.
Now, I'm not sure if anyone else is going have the same specific need for the same specific payment provider, but who knows, maybe this will fit some other purpose, and so I'm putting it up, just in case.
Oh, wait... just in case... case!... get it? get it? Sorry.... :D
