Officially Extinct in 1883
Quagga was a subspecies of the plains zebra that was once found in South Africa but went extinct in the late 19th century due to overhunting by European settlers.
The quagga was distinct from other zebra species because it had fewer stripes, a brownish coloration on its back and legs, and a white belly.
Efforts to bring back the quagga have been underway since the 1980s through selective breeding programs, but the resulting animals are considered a separate breed rather than true quaggas.
Model includes a Pre-supported version.
The model is sized for 1:24 of the actual size. You can reduce or enlarge the model using the slicing software if you need a different size.
Pre-supported model is oriented to minimize supports to the face and other high-detail parts. Care should be taken when removing the supports to avoid damaging the model.
