A case made for mounting your Raspberry Pi4 to your Prusa i3 MK3.
- Smallest form factor possible for a Pi4.
- All peripheral ports accessible (not the Pi headers).
- Break away window for Pi-cam.
- Windows for status lights.
- Easy to print: no supports needed.
I liked the original case that this remix is based off of but, I didn't like that in the original you had to widen the holes on the Pi4 for M3 screws that would go straight through the board and into the bottom part below. I found a nice cooling plate that offered attachment points for securing it to the board and the board to other things. I thought this was a better solution for attaching the case to the board over the original design.

4 M2.5x8 Screws (not included with the kit)
(I designed the screw holes around these but any M2.5 screws of the mentioned length should work)

2 M3x10 Screws (for mounting the case to the printer)
1 6 inch USB A to USB B Male cable (you can use longer but, there will be more cable overhang)
Recommended Settings:
0.15mm - 0.2mm (depending on desired finish)
20% infill
PETG
No supports
Assembly:
1. Follow the instructions that came with the cooling kit to prepair the pi4 for attachment.
2. Take the smallest stand offs included with the kit, there will be 8 of these in total. There are 4 standoffs with a 4mm post and 4 with a 5mm post, select the ones with the 4mm post, you won't need the rest. It is important to use the standoffs with the smallest posts as, the threaded holes on the cooling plate one continuous hole all the way through, not segmented for top and bottom. This might cause conflict in trying to tightening things up if using the longer of the two options (I found this out from personal experience).
3. Take the Pi4 and slot it into the case bottom. Take the plate and align it to the top of the Pi4. Place the 4 M2.5x8 screws into the holes, tighten the screws lightly, in a diagonal fashion in order to ensure the plate stays aligned. Once all of the screws have been started, tighten to snug, be careful not to over tighten.
4. Take the 4 standoffs and screw them into the holes on top of the plate, making sure they are secure but again, do not over tighten. Plug in the fan per the instructions for the cooling plate.
5. Take the case top and slot it into place over the Pi4, being careful to not pinch the fan cable. Secure the top with the 4 M2.5x5 screws.
6. Secure the case to the back of the printer with the 2 M3x10 screws. Plug in the USB and power cables, insert your SD card and you are all done!
