Simple LED Holder

Everyone from time to time needs a way to toss a light inside something quickly. For most a trip to a dollar store to get an LED tea light candle thing is an option. For me I don't have the option of a store within a few hundred miles. So I designed my own. I always keep a bunch of 2032 and 2025 batteries on hand for this purpose but recently I wanted an led that stood up nice and neat like a votive candle. So I designed this simple fast printing object.
The Print is designed to work with a standard non rechargable 2032 lithium button cell battery. You choose the led you want to use, trim the leads of it so it stands the height you want it and insert and you are good to go.
My favorite LEDs to use are the self color changing ones either fast or slow depending on the intended use, or I also use the flickering LEDs when I want the look of a candle or a fire inside a miniature model.
If you want to use these with a 2032 batter simply print it as it is you can do this a fairly quick print with ony a couple shells and minimal or no infill. I like to use at least 3 top and bottoms but 4 or 5 is best.
This will work with pretty much any LED but if it is an LED with a lower forward voltage rating like a red LED it may not last as long if you use a fresh brand new battery. That being said you could use a white or blue LED till it gets dim then switch it out for a red and get almost doube life out of the same battery.
To use this holder with other batteries I have tried it with 2025 since I also have many of those around and all I did was scale it to 78% in my slicer. If you want to keep it the correct height then just scale X and Y and leave Z at 100% a 2016 should also work at about 55% but I have not tried this as I do not have any 2016 batteries in my stash right now.
Hope someone finds this useful to light a pumpkin, snowflake, pretty glass decoration, another 3d print or whatever you want to have a small light inside.
Oh and another thing that works great is a 3mm UV LED inside something printed out of glow in the dark filament or translicent flourescent filament.
These are no support simple fast print. SLice with as few as 2 shells and zero infill maybe 3 or 4 top and bottom layers.
I didn't bothering changing any settings in my slicr and I printed at 4 shells 20% infill 4 tops and 4 bottoms and it took less than 20 minutes for the full size and about 15 for the 2025 battey version
