This is my take on a medieval church. It is designed to be used in small scale wargames like warmaster.
While i wanted to have the proportions and heights close to real medival churches, the actual architectural elements are only inspired by gothic village churches and elements of bigger gothic churches. All is accumulated into a slightly toned down design with a slight touch of fantasy elements.
The church works quite well in an imperial or bretonian village/city or as a nice centerpiece on the battlefield sitting on a small hill.
The kit is optimized for FDM-printing and comes in 2 parts. No supports are needed. The model looks great in fdm with 0.1mm layerheight.
For optimal sharpness and detail an SLA printer would be the best choice. The model comes without supports for resin printing and is recommended to be hollowed before printing.
printed on FDM Anycubic Kobra, sliced with Prusa 2.7.1
layerheight: 0.1mm
perimeters:3
bottom layers: 2
top layers: 6
When slicing with Cura there might occur an error message with the mainbuilding of the church, since Cura seems to have some problems with the amount of polygons of that model. Prusa works without problems here. If you want to slice it with Cura there is a version of the main building with less polygons included which works fine.
