"Smart Home" sub-module
This is the first part of a so called "Smart Home" plan. This part of the project concentrates for the heating of the house. This way you can avoid or prevent any dengerous accidents with it.
All the required equipments:
• Arduino ATmega328P
• MQ2 sensor (CO, LPG, SMOKE)
• DHT22 sensor (Temperature&Humidity)
• Arduino Reley
• WH2004L 20x4
• 3L red LTL4221NLC LED.
I designed a case which will house all the parts together and printed with my Anet E10 3D printer. Used material PLA and PETG.
In the term of working, the arduino display and the 3 pieces of led together make the main unit. This unit should be placed on one of the main room's wall (living room, kitchen, bedroom).
The DHT22 sensor measures the boiler's temperature which will be seen on the lower section of the display. This is placed on the boiler's outgoing section with a pipe clamp.
The boiler room's/house's SMOKE, CO and LPG level will be displayed in the upper section (, with a "LOW" or a "HIGH" sign). This we could measure with the MQ2 sensor.
If the specified level has been exceeded then the 3 pieces of led will start to flash and the display will show a warning text.
In case of danger, the last part of the modul become operative which is the Reley. It turns on one or more fans (wich is part of the house's ventilation system) by this it prevents, restrains and avoids any accident that might occur.
There will be a text on the display if the fans are turned on.
I am a mechanical engineer, so this project was very exciting and challenging (in a fun way) task for me. During this project I strated to like programing and working with fine electronics.
My goal is to make the full "Smart Home" module.
