Halter, um einen Duet 3 6HC-Controller in einen Snapmaker J1 einzubauen. 

Die Duet wird über Luftkanäle mit einem 5015-Radiallüfter von unten gekühlt. Hierzu muß seitlich in das Gehäuse bzw. den Rahmen des Druckers eine passende Öffnung gebohrt/gefeilt werden (siehe Bilder).

Montage: Das Unterteil des Halters wird auf einige der Verschraubungen des originalen Controllers geschraubt, dann wird das Oberteil mit montiertem Lüfter und die Duet aufgeschraubt. Alle Kabel über der Duet müssen sehr flach verlegt werden - es ist nicht viel Platz nach oben frei!

Ich hatte die Chance, mir ein Lüftergitter direkt in die äußere Aluminumverkleidung des Druckers zu fräsen - das kann man aber auch mit einem 3D-gedruckten Einsatz lösen.

Den lärmigen Lüfter hinten im Drucker habe ich deaktiviert - ein Sunon 5015 sorgt selbst bei moderaten Geschwindigkeiten für mehr als genug Luftdurchsatz im Gehäuseunterteil. Der Anschluß des Lüfters erfolgt als temperaturgesteuerter Lüfter an der Duet mit der Controller- und Steppertemperaturen als Referenz. Hierzu folgende Zeilen in der config.g ergänzen (der Lüfter hängt im Beispiel an "out6"):

Fixture to mount a Duet 3 6HC controller into a Snapmaker J1. 

The Duet is cooled via air ducts from its bottom with a 5015-radial fan. For the fan, a fitting hole needs to be made in the printer housing/frame (see pictures).

Assembly: the lower part of the fixture is screwed int othe printer using some of the screws that held the original controller. Then, the upper part with the fan mounted to it and the Duet itself be screwed onto the lower part. All cables need to routed closely above the Duet - there is not much vertical space!

While I had the possibility to mill a fan grille out of the outer part of the printer housing, this can also be made with a printed insert.

I disabled the noisy original fan in the back of the printer. even with moderate speeds, the Sunon 5015 fan I used draws more than enough air out of the printer housing (connect it to the Duet as a temperature-controlled fan, using the controller and stepper temperature as a reference). Add the follwing lines to the appropiate sections of your config.g for that (fan is connected to "out6 in the example):
