The Stone fountain of Lost Wishes was once not named such, for it used to be a glittering jewel in the centre of a bussling city; who's name has long been forgotten. Coins at the bottom, thick, layered up over years and years, glinting in the midday sun. Many weary travellers and even locals would toss a coin into its cascading waters, paying hommage to their faith, wishing for luck, fortune and good health in the days to come.
But all that is long gone, the city laying in ruin, its people fled, the water dry, fountain bare. The coins lay dusty, dulled, ashen, their power long lost.
