The drum is possibly from the late 19th to early 20th century and is from the Baga population in Rio Nunez. Its primaty materials are wood, pigment, skin (from an animal) and string. The drum is on display at the Quai Branly museum and was scanned for us by a volunteer using approximately 50 photographs.
This object is part of "Scan The World".
