Description
Weisbach Lady, a stucco work identified as a model for the Berlin “Marietta Strozzi”, which gradually slid away from Desiderio and the fifteenth century. It is newly attributed to Gregorio di Lorenzo.
First recorded in the late nineteenth century, it seems to be one of the many works inspired by the Saint Constance in the Louvre, formerly known as “La BelleFlorentine.
