Description
Hello. My name is Bill Maryka. I live in Alberta Canada
I have a 3D printer now for just over a year. Since then i have printed 4 truck bodys downloaded from Scale RC 3D. To guess i would have to say i have well over 800 hours on my little Anycubic Mega S.
This particular truck is a replica of the 1960 Chev truck and portable welder my dad used for his construction business in the 60s and 70s when I was a kid.
The truck chassis is an Element Sendero. Everything above the chassis is 3D printed. Except for the tires. The welding trailer is all 3D printed. The welder is a 1920s era Lincoln welder powered by a 1936 Chev truck engine. My father cobbled it together from what he could find so i tryed to replicate that. The stuff in the box is almost all 3D printed.
I use Shapr 3D to design ALL my own parts. Except for the truck body.
I love the fact that i can design and print anything I want.
Now I am building a 1965 Ford F700 from scratch including the chassis and suspension. But that wont be done till next year because ever part has to be designed from the ground up.
I watch all HemiStorm videos. Lots of good information.
Thank you
Bill
