Description
Here is my adapted design of your base/lower section of the mini jib. Removed the supports for legs and it's nothing pretty but functional. The very bottom connection has a 1/4" threaded opening for any tripod that will take that size. For me, all my manfrotto tripods work. The upper section holds the bearings, what was the upper and mid cores you had, I merged into one element. At the top is one bearing, and the second bearing is inside where the tripod mount and other section are bolted together. Can't wait to try this out using my 5lb camera. So far it seems to hold really well. Maybe this is something worth adding to your Jib print?
