Description
Unfortunately my delta seems to have Z issues above 200mm. Due to the small footprint (I only added a 10 line brim) the leverage gets pretty high and the print head kept hitting the print, ultimately knocking it loose. It printed high enough to mount the buttstock to the extrusion and it is fairly stable. T-slot guides on the shoulder side of the slide would help with horizontal stability. Also as suggested before, I would love a shorter stock version. I can imagine the mounting bit flipped towards the shoulder side, making the stock a total height of ~180-190mm. That's below my apparently problematic height and would allow for printing on an i3.
The stock definitely needs some getting used to in game. I tried the G36C in Onward and it was too high on the grip end, constantly aiming down. The way I had the grip and front pinky ring on the extrusion was a bit too narrow in game, causing me to grab the magazine instead of the barrel. I only tried a little bit and I forgot to turn on the physical stock setting, so I'll definitely return to that.
I still like it and definitely have to add a strap. And I need to practice more and play with the settings in game.
