Travelling to Tempest Hold, from the beginning of the Journey, to almost the end, has been an incredible adventure.

If you're not sure who RM Printable Terrain is, we're a small company with artists all across the globe that came together to create some incredible miniatures and terrain, all in one spot! We launched a project called Arvalon-8 together, that merged our love of terrain, with our love of just incredible sci-fi miniatures and from there we have only grown.

Our next campaign saw us return to fantasy with our first fantasy miniatures for Birchwood Vale. Over 1300 supporters brought the project to life, but we weren't finished there. We had a handful of stretch goals that didn't open... and to say the least, we were pretty sad some incredible characters didn't get to come to life... yet.

Enter Tempest Hold... our story continues back to Stormguard where it all began.

We decided to take the original concepts that didn't unlock, change some of their attire and get them ready to return home. Benet, one of our main characters got a new sculpt and has returned home to find everything destroyed. We wanted to show the evolution of the character, adding a scar, and a more powerful stance as if he's seen some things maybe he shouldn't have in Birchwood Vale, and from there our story really started to evolve.

We knew we wanted the campaign to have a darker feel from Birchwood Vale, so we wanted to add ruins once again, a city preparing for a seige, and just stunning monsters and enimies to continue the trend from Birchwood Vale. We brought on some new artists, and started to look really hard at creating a 5e Supplement to go withour models and terrain as so many people wanted one from Birchwood Vale!

With a book being suggested to us, and a story of a returned champion, we needed something legendary that would destroy Stormguard... and ofcourse an undead dragon would do just the trick. Bringing on a stunning artist Andrea Piparo he set to work on a cover piece of art that would stretch both front and back cover!

From Gwathorian, to Mallakson, to Alatare and Benet, our 4 heroes had been drawn as a party to combat the dragon and create a truely cinematic piece! And what can we say, it just took off from there!

From there it just grew and grew and grew, until it started just burstign at the seems... the current campaign now features over 150 miniatures, and over 150 pieces of terain including scatter, full buildings, a castle, a complete underground modular crypt... it's just an insane bundle!

We will cover more heroes as we go on, but for now there's only a handfull of days left, so don't miss it!
