Description
This is my rendition of Notre-Dame of Paris Cathedral designed by the people at MiniWorld 3d. I've always heard that the Cathedral was beautiful and complex, and honestly, the designers at MiniWorld 3D did an absolutely amazing job with the detail. They gave me an immense appreciation for the people who actually built the structure, and I cant wait to see it in person one day. I understand that one of the criteria was to give it a clean paint job, but i really enjoy whether piece. It not only gives it a more realistic look, but i feel it adds character and history to a model. I found some amazingly beautiful statues on MyMinifactories "scan the world" section and thought they would fit great with the esthetic of the Notre Dame Cathedral. I also noticed while taking pictures that the design of the windows wasn't showing, and thought putting some warm lighting inside will add so much to the final look. I made the model using my Voxlab resin 3d printer and cheap acrylic paints. I don't mean to toot my horn but it came out so much better than I thought it was.
