Transitioned from a 12 year health care career... was a respiratory therapist and nursing home administrator... and left the industry to work in recycling in late 1998. Universal Composites is a family business that I ran from 2000 thru today. In October, 2019, I founded GreenGate3D, a 3D filament manufacturer that EXCLUSIVELY produces filament from scrap plastics. We currently extrude in 3 States, and while our PETG is our flagship material, TPU is on the way, and we're starting to consider a recycled PLA. Our PETG is no joke; 25 colors and prints as smooth as melted butter. No finer layer adhesion, too. Come get some!
